What is the format of the conference program?
Across the two-day conference, there will be presentations running in multiple tracks over the two days. Each presentation will be scheduled for 25 minutes.  Our general recommendation to speakers is to prepare 15-20 minutes of speaking time and 5-10 minutes of Q&A.

What is the theme of FORCE2018?
The theme of FORCE2018 is engagement.  We want each presentation to engage the community.  This will mean different things for each speaker.  It may mean crafting an interactive presentation. Or it could mean showcasing true/tangible impact. Or maybe it's a fun talk offering clear ways for the community to join emerging efforts, etc.

What to expect?
Things will move quickly. We are all speakers to bypass what attendees can read online.  We want to go straight to the aspects of our work that are thought-provoking and engaging.  Also, there will have Keynotes to break things up as well as free time to meet new collegues.

What is the format of the workshops?
On October 10, there will be a day of pre-conference worksops running in multiple tracks.  These are run by segments of the FORCE11 community.  There are limited number of spots available for these workshops.
