Create a Group
FORCE11 provides a platform for different scholarly communities: working groups, interest groups, projects and FORCE11 committees, etc. Please fill out the form below and we'll be in touch.

Publicity and Dissemination
We will of course add your Working Group to the FORCE11 website. The following is a list of items that each group area on the website will include:
- Group private email list (groupname@force11.org) – Only members will be able to receive and respond to mail. All members will receive emails sent to this address.
- Group Google Drive Folder – A link from the group pages, for members to work on documents together or store documents.
- Discussion Area — Area for posting topics and comments open to any Force 11 Member to view. However, only group members may post to this forum.
- GitHub Workspace for the group — Place to deposit software or use Github to track group activities.

We are delighted that you are interested in leading a new FORCE11 Group! Many have found this to be a very rewarding experience in numerous ways, including meeting new people and an enriched understanding of the problems.
To help ensure the effectiveness of your new group we provide some guidelines and rationale throughout the signup form below. We have found that the groups with the most impact are ones that adhere to the FORCE11 expectations of transparency, inclusion, and community reporting/communication. Please bear this in mind as your group evolves.
Please complete the information below. You must be a member of FORCE11 to lead a FORCE11 group. Your application will be sent to the FORCE11 Board of Directors for review and you will be notified with a decision within approximately four weeks. If you have additional questions, please contact groupadmin@force11.org
