We are delighted to announce the following talks by our invited speakers at the workshop:
 
– “Indexing the Biomedical Literature in a Time of Increased Demand and Limited Resources”, by Alan R Aronson, Lister Hill Center, U.S. National Library of Medicine, USA
 
– “Watson Beyond Jeopardy!: Adaptation to the Medical Domain”, by Jennifer Chu-Caroll, IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, USA
 
During the workshop, the results of the open BioASQ challenge will also be presented.

Notification of acceptance/rejection: August 31st, 2013
Camera-Ready Paper Deadline: September 15th, 2013
Workshop: September 27th, 2013

REGISTRATION

Although there is NO REGISTRATION FEE for the workshop, if you intend to participate, you will need to fill in the registration form at http://www.bioasq.org/workshop/register-bioasq-workshop-1
 
VENUE

The workshop will be held at the Technical University of Valencia, as a post-conference workshop after CLEF 2013. The Workshop will take place in building 1E, room "Salon de actos". Note that this is NOT the building where CLEF will be taking place!
