FSCI 2020 online has three types of events held throughout Monday, August 3 to Thursday, August 13, 2020. We welcome your attendance.
To participate in FSCI, you MUST register. To do this, please following the instructions below.
Registration is a two-step process for the online event – registration in EventBrite and registration into Sched.com to select seats in the events of your choice.
STEP 1: Register for FSCI 2020 and purchase your tickets
STEP 2: Select your seat in available events in the schedule. You must add events to your schedule to be guaranteed a space in that particular event.
Here is the registration process.
1. Register at EventBrite and purchase a ticket to the event.
2. EventBrite will send your email address used to register to the FSCI Hub located in the Sched.com app and will ask for your Sched.com log-in credentials. If you already have a Sched account you may add your password at this time. If you do not have a Sched.com account, you will be redirected to set up an account to gain access to select your event seats.
3. Enter Sched.com and scroll over an event to see a description and select “Add to my Schedule”
FSCI 2020 features three types of events:
Plenary Sessions feature keynote speakers and panel sessions and are open to all registered participants.
Community Events are open to all registered participants and these sessions are interactive and encourage community participation
Courses are open to all who recorded sessions available to all registrants of FSCI.

Completing the registration process and submitting payment constitutes an agreement on your part to accept the following terms and conditions.
Tuition and Housing Types
You agree to pay in full the fee that is applicable to your registration category and if selecting UCLA campus housing, the full housing fees. For example, current full-time students possessing valid student identification are entitled to register at the student rate.

You will receive your registration confirmation and payment receipt by email. Please ensure that your email address is entered correctly in your account on the registration site.
If you need to cancel, you must notify us via email us email@example.com by Monday, July 1, 2019, and your housing fees will be refunded less a $50.00 processing fee. NO HOUSING REFUND after this date.
Tuition Cancellation and Refunds
If you need to cancel, you must notify us firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, July 15, 2019, and your tuition fees will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be given for Housing after July 1, 2019.
Refunds will apply to either the credit card used for payment of the original fee or in the form of a check drawn on a US bank. All refunds will be processed after the FSCI event has concluded. Cash refunds will not be considered.
Refunds will not be provided for late arrivals, early departures, “no-shows”, or cancellation requests received after Monday, July 15th, 2019.
Substitutions & Transfers
You may transfer your registration to another eligible party if you are unable to attend FSCI. Attendees transferring registrations to another party are responsible for any and all financial arrangements between transferring and receiving parties. Registration transfers and substitutions may be requested via email until Monday, July 15th, 2019. After this date, any change requests will be evaluated on an individual basis. There will be a $25 processing fee charged per registration transfer.
Travel & Hotel
Attendees are responsible for securing their own travel and accommodation and making payment for such. Cancellation of hotel or UCLA housing reservations and/or any travel expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of each individual.
