GROUP HAS COMPLETED THEIR WORK AND IS NO LONGER ACTIVE.

FOR QUERIES, PLEASE WRITE TO ‘INFO@FORCE11.ORG’

Description

This group will work on establishing and overseeing a FORCE11 Scholarly Communications Institute, focussing on contemporary trends in scholarly and scientific communication.  The goal of this institute will be to provide courses and workshops in contemporary topics in scholarly and scientific communication, ranging from the beginner's level (e.g. understanding impact; the contemporary publication process; introduction to the research cycle; introduction to data management; and so on), to the advanced (e.g. developing actionable papers; beginning a start up in the scholarly communication space; maximising impact across disciplines: the administrators' perspective). There would also be an administrators’ stream, focusses on understanding, evaluating, and promoting success and best practice in contemporary scholarly communication.

Join a committee today and help shape the institute:  Organizing Committee, Program Committee, Communications Committee

Do you have ideas for courses?  Send us an email and we will add to the list for the Program Committee to review info@force11.org.
