Below you find information about how publishers, biocurators and librarians, authors and resource providers can participate in the Resource Identification Initiative. A person or organization can participate in one or multiple ways.
Publishers and Editors
- Publishers and Editors Endorse the project
- What does it mean to be an endorser?
- You support the mission of the project
- Your organization or journal may be used in communications about the project.
- Your publisher or journal logo will be displayed on our website.
- You will be invited to provide feedback on outreach materials and system function.
- What does it mean to be an endorser?
- Identify beta testers: we are looking for people who can help us test the workflow we are recommending to authors and take a quick survey about the process.
- Note- free gifts are offered to all beta testers!
- After authors have submitted a paper to your journal, ask them to include the Resource Identification IDs in their manuscript, prior to publication (see Draft Letter to Authors). Include the recommended citation for these resources in the keywords section of the manuscript.
