UC3 – California Digital Library
Catherine Nancarrow is Associate Director of the UC Curation Center (UC3) at the California Digital Library (CDL). In this role, Catherine works across the range of systemwide projects at UC3, providing oversight and support for the group’s product managers leading the respective digital curation services and facilitating communications within UC3, across CDL and the UC campuses, and external organizations with shared interests in open digital scholarship. Prior to CDL, Catherine was Senior Managing Editor of PLOS Genetics, PLOS Computational Biology, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, and PLOS Pathogens and provided guidance on matters related to ethics, data, and publishing best practices across the PLOS journals. In addition to her 10 years with PLOS, she served as a managing and content development editor of clinical and research journals and textbooks published by Little Brown, Walters Kluwers, BMJ Publishing Group, the American Medical Association, and the American Association of Immunologists, as well as public policy reports for the University of California, Office of the President.
