We are now accepting proposals to host the FORCE11 Conference.

The FORCE11 conferences have been unique and dynamic forums that bring together our diverse community of scholars, librarians, archivists, publishers, infrastructure providers, and funders, in a lively and intense environment of discussion with a focus on collectively producing better scholarly communications. Some of FORCE11’s most influential activities (e.g. the FORCE11 Joint Declaration of Data Citation Principles) had its origin in community discussions at the conference.

The FORCE11 conference provides an opportunity for hosts to shape the conference; the host institution and FORCE11 will work collaboratively on the event content and feel. We are considering partners for the years 2027 and 2028.

To host the next FORCE11 conference, kindly review the information below and submit information through our form or by emailing admin@force11.org.

Deadline for proposals: July 31, 2026
