    Interesting article by FORCE11 member Melissa Haendel (with a mention of Beyond the PDF) about her experiences in conducting deep inventories of institutional resources through the eagle-i project.  Good lab management practices for tracking resources within a lab are still not widely used, and consequently information about materials and reagents are lost.
