The SEALS Platform is an open and sustainable infrastructure on which all aspects of an evaluation can be hosted and executed and has been designed to accommodate different technology types. The platform has become a repository of evaluation workflows, test data and evaluation results for different types of semantic technologies. Furthermore, it allows anyone to organise evaluations, execute them and store their results as well as to exploit the combined evaluation results from different evaluations in other tasks such as technology recommendation. In this talk we present the need for a similar infrastructure that supports the evaluation of the different technologies used in scholarly workflows and the recommendation of such technologies to end users.
