Description
The DCIP Identifiers Expert Group is holding a one-day technically focused workshop on Identifier Harmonization at Harvard University on June 2, 2016 from 9:00am to 5:00pm (Eastern Time). This technical workshop is to develop an achievable near-term alignment plan between the N2T Identifier resolution system (California Digital Library, CDL) and the Identifiers.org registry and resolution system (European Bioinformatics Laboratory, EBI). There will be specific pre-work undertaken by CDL and EBI staff prior to this workshop so that as much detailed technical progress can be accomplished at the workshop as possible. This is an invitation-only workshop including invitees from EBI, CDL, ELIXIR, bioCADDIE, and NIH.
